What is rake?

Rake is the amount of money the poker site takes from each pot as a fee. The amount taken from each pot varies by poker sites and by limits. Take a look at Full Tilt Poker's Rake Structure.

What is rakeback?

When you create a rake back account through Texas Poker Project [dot] com, you will receive a percentage of the total rake that you earn each month. This percentage paid to you by Texas Poker Project [dot] com is known as rakeback. This percentage varies from poker site to poker site. Take a look at our rake back percentages. All poker players will benefit from rake back. Who wouldn't want free money? The more poker you play, the more rake you generate, the more rakeback you earn!

What is Total Rake?

Total Rake is the amount of rake that you generated in a given month for Texas Poker Project [dot] com. You can find your Total Rake for any particular month by logging in to your Texas Poker Project [dot] com account.

How often are my rakeback stats updated in my Texas Poker Project [dot] account?

Rake back stats are updated daily. There may be slight delays in updating that are out of our control. When these delays occur, they usually do not last longer than 24 hours, therefore, you can expect your stats to be updating within 48 hours at all times.

I always see special sign up bonuses on poker sites. Will rake back disqualify me from these bonuses?

How and When does Texas Poker Project [dot] com pay out its rake back to its members?

Rake back payments are made via player transfer (ie: if you signed up on Full Tilt Poker, we will send you your rakeback directly into your Full Tilt Poker account!). This is why it is CRUCIAL for you to supply your poker site username in your profile in your Texas Poker Project [dot] com account.

Payments are made on the 15th of every month for the previous months rake back balance due. For example, if you had Total Rake of $100 for the month of January, on February 15th you would be paid $45! (this assumes a 45% rake back payout percentage)
